My goal in life is simple: I want to leave the world a better place. Medicine allows me to do this, as well as pursue my fascination of the biological sciences. Medicine also allows me to connect with people during their most vulnerable state and I believe that is the greatest privilege and honor a person can have.

Me not matching into my speciality of choice (PMR). I struggle with it everyday. However, I understand good things don't come easy and I must work even harder to get to my goal. I won't quit because I simply don't know how. I believe in myself and determined more than ever for next year!

Advocating for your patients is critical in any speciality. In PM&R, you are advocating for a patient population that may have undergone life changing circumstances. They may have to change their entire lifestyle. As a physician, patients will look to you to help them navigate through difficult times.
As an attending in physiatry, my goal would be to work with and mentor as many students interested in PM&R as possible. I would want them to experience what I am passionate about. I would want physiatry to be more accessible for students!

My goal is to be a well rounded physiatrist. I'm not sure if or what subspeciality I want to pursue just yet. I have interests in orthobiologics and cancer rehabilitation, but I know there is so much more in PM&R, so I'm keeping an open mind.
I am very passionate about mentorship. My goal is to help as many students and residents when I become an attending.
